Exciting news! Municipal parks and properties with washroom buildings are officially reopening for the season on May 1, 2025.

Washrooms

The Municipality of Clare is responsible for the upkeep of washroom buildings at the following locations:

  • Wentworth Park
  • Meteghan Centre Beach (Frenchy Beach)
  • Major’s Point Acadian Cemetery and Chapel Site
  • Bourneuf Wharf Road (Grosses Coques)
  • Cape Saint Mary’s Lighthouse Park
  • Joseph and Marie Dugas Park (Belliveau Cove) *

* Joseph and Marie Dugas Park will be equipped with portable washrooms for the beginning of the 2025 season until the new washroom building is complete this summer.

2025 FarmersMarket

The Belliveau Cove Farmers’ Market will soon be back to offer another season of local products! The 2025 Farmers’ Market will run every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. starting Saturday, May 31, until Saturday, September 27, 2025.

We’re excited to announce that our Farmers’ Market Manager for the 2025 season will be Jean LeBlanc (Chez Jean himself!). Jean will be responsible for all Farmers’ Market related inquiries, including vendor bookings, table rentals, scheduling, and more. As a Belliveau Cove native with a wealth of management experience, we’re confident the Farmers’ Market will be in good hands with Jean – and who knows, we might even get to see some of his famous fried chicken make an appearance?

If you’re interested in booking space at the Belliveau Cove Farmers’ Market, or have any market-related questions, please contact Jean at 902-841-0148.

Supporting local businesses and products is more important now than ever. We can’t wait to see you at the Belliveau Cove Farmers’ Market this season!
