Grant funding is offered to encourage volunteer community groups, organizations and individuals to further improve or develop recreation opportunities for Clare residents.
Leadership Training Grant Program
(Formerly known as the Francophone Coaching & Officiating Development Program)
This funding program's objective is to increase the opportunity to support coaches, officials, community sport groups and individual leaders in their pursuit in NCCP and non NCCP training and professional development.
Community Recreation Assistance Program
This program has been replaced with the Young Champions Fund.
Young Champions Fund
The Young Champions Fund provides youth residing in Clare with support to represent their community at a provincial, regional, national, or international level of competition.

Canadian Tire JumpStart Program
Canadian Tire believes all kids should have the chance to run, skate, play and grow. That's why they have created Canadian Tire JumpStart, a community based charitable program from the Canadian Tire Foundation for families that help kids in need participate in organized sport and recreational activities.
KidSport Nova Scotia
KidSport Nova Scotia provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers to help cover the costs of sport registration and equipment fees so that all kids in Nova Scotia can experience the benefits of sport. Together with our network of 13 local chapters across Nova Scotia we provide grants up to $500 per year for eligible families So ALL Kids Can Play!
